Wanting a half decent set-up on a budget

Buying a keg is just like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. If you have the extra cash then i would go for the better quality keg. I have a King Keg and have been very happy with it.

    Candi sugar

I've a Brewferm ready to do ( Ambiorix ) and it will be my 4th kit and i'm trying to be clever by making candi sugar. I followed Luckyeddie's instructions but i think i may have rushed it. very high SG

Would i be right in saying then when using a kit if you use less water you get a higher SG but end up with a higher ABV%? I have read through the instructions on my next kit and it said suitable for 40 or 36 pints. I am new to the game so didn't know what this was about. Can it be done with...

    Priming bottles.

Thanks everyone. As for the malt i added 500g of light dry malt ( as per the instructions ) I noticed that this was for light beer and i did question the LHBS and they told me that light med or dark is just to add colour and i should not worry with an Irish stout. I could add the malt for the...
