being on the isle of wight some couriers try and charge rip off prices to deliver to me but rob was great and with us getting our heads together we found a courier who was very fair in price and i shall place all future orders with the malt miller :cheers:

just been given a boiler that was part made by a friend of the wife, there are 2 holes cut out one for the kettle element and the other for the tap, i was thinking that im in the middle of changing my bathroom over and thought i could use one of the sink taps. would this be ok?

very happy with this kit just like the mild from when i was young, brewed with dark spray malt and brewing sugar and fermented down to 1012 then put in the keg with 80gr of sugar, after a month its a real nice session drink not too much body but nice subtle flavours come through and is going...

though id give this kit a try as a change from the more mainstream ones, brewed as per instructions without any tinkering, sg was 1048 and finished at 1010 used a fish tank heater as a bit cold in the back room, a little darker than i was expecting but after 4 weeks in the keg its turning into...

almost a disaster in the brewing room as i found a small split in one of the kegs and about a pint of beer on the floor, good job i found it and managed to bodge the split up before i lost all 40 pints

made a turbo raspberry/apple on saturday and just realized ive made a big cock up, i put 200g of sugar instead of 20 and checked the sg and the hydrometer almost sunk i can just see the tip, is this doomed or can i save it [-o< =

started this kit off today its one ive been waiting to do for a while now, mixed up as per instructions but used notts yeast instead, sg 1050/ 1049. ive been told its a very good pint only time will tell :cheers:

are there any lager kits that taste like the greek stuff mythos or turkish effes :cheers: i like to condition myself ready for 2 weeks lager drinking on me hols by only drinking lager at home for a few weeks befoore i go as im usully a real ale drinker

was think off putting one of the ale pumps that they use in the pubs on to a keg using a tube to the keg from the pump and when a pint is required open the tap and pull away, will the pressure in the keg cause problems if i tried to do this? just an idea i had for the summer garden parts :cheers:
