    Worcester Sorcerer

Has anyone got a recipe for a clone Saddlers Brewery Worcester Sorcerer ? It's my new favourite commercial brew and I'd love to brew something like it. They make it onsite but I can't imagine they'd pass the recipe onto me

    Best brands for beer kits

Coopers have all been great except for the English bitter for me. The Coopers IPA is a lovely drink as is the stout. Two must try's in my opinion. I've done 2 better brew kits and to be honest I've not been impressed with either. All 2 can kits should be good especially if you brew them...

    Cooper's ox-bar pet bottles

They're all I use, I have 127 of them. No problems what so ever, and I have used them many times over and they still look new. I use a liquid chalk pen to mark them up with what's in them and when they were filled etc. The chalk stays on until you wipe them. So all good, just don't use any...

    urgent!

Thanks guys, I've just stuck it outside. I'll give it half an hour, if not I take it, it maybe ok to leave as it is, but would be best to put it in the fridge? This Brazil v Spain game is helping keep me awake, bloody early start tomorrow!

    urgent!

I've made an ag Exmoor gold today and have re-hydrated my yeast. Problem is the temp of the wort in the FV is still at 28 degrees, so to high to pitch and its not coming down very quickly! I need sleep! So can I keep the rehydrated yeast covered up in my kitchen overnight to pitch in the morning?

    wilko.com sale

My Wilkco's in Stourbridge is rubbish as it's only got a tiny selection  Anyway still managed to pick up two 6 bottle wine kits as fruit based drinks for the wife... and a coopers stout for me  Plus 2 small tubs of steriliser. Even though i'm now fully AG, I'll always make...

    Better Brew, IPA

This is nearly 3 months in the bottle now and I've got 5 bottles left to drink. Must say that it never did get as good as my coopers IPA. The flavour just never developed, so I've been drinking it just to clear the bottles. It did look better though and had a better head and mouth feel than the...

    NEWBY

Hi and welcome :thumb: Carbonation drops can be a little inconsistent, but as you have them you might as well use them. Only 1drop is needed for ale in a 500ml bottle. As for sugar I use half 1/4 teaspoon for a stout 1/2 a teaspoon for ale and a full teaspoon for lagar. You'll find sugar is...

    I give up!!

thanks, I'm sure he will as he loves a pint of Bathams when he visits the pub, but in the house he drinks cans of Banks's Bitter  so to have bathams in the house should be a rare treat if it's any good that is

    Cheap BIAB bags?

Lets face it with biab, the only time you need to pay close attention is during the boil to make sure you have no boil overs and to put the hops in at the right time. Even then I just pop into the kitchen every 1/4 hour to check, so no big deal. I know this is going off the subject but the...

    Cheap BIAB bags?

The big square of voile I imagine is fine if you have a big pot to brew in. But in my 19ltr pot with a 4.5kg grain bill it got very messy and my efficiency was way down as a result. The problem was when I pulled the bag the grain, the wort came out the sides as much as the bottom which meant a...

    I give up!!

Massive thanks to 'Lambert' who gave up far more of his time then I could ever wish for, to guide me through how to use the Maxi-BIAB-calculator. The result was just under 23ltrs of Bathams Best Bitter in my 19ltr pot at 1.045OG with all volumes and hop weights adjusted accordingly for...

    I give up!!

Can someone do me a massive favour? I'm doing another Batham's Bitter tomorrow and I'm having so much trouble with the maxi-biab calculator! I wanted to adjust the grain and hop bill to properly suit my equipment which is a 19ltr stock pot (30.5cm x 26cm). This is the recipe: Pale malt 4480g...
