I love this beer very simple and very nice. It was this first beer I drank as a lad down t'pub and this reciepe of GW's tastes just like it.

Bass 40l

Grist
7250g pale
380g crystal
1044 og

Hops
52g 7.1% challenger 90mins
26 EBU

Water treatment
50ml crs in 60l liquor
1 campden tablet

batch sparge

copper fin
whirlflock 15 mins

yeast
Saf 04

was supposed to start early but looked grey out so water on at 10am should be at strike about now....

Draught Bass has always been a favorite of mine.
Been thinking of doing a Bass clone myself.

put it to bed @ 1044 and 43l so efficency in the mid eighties. have some more photos I'll put them up later after a rest.
