1kg dextrose will raise ABV by .... ?

Hi guys,

Just wondering, if I want to up ABV of a kit, how much dextrose do I need. Lets say 1kg of dextrose to a 21L batch will increase the ABV by ... ?
I know that adding dextrose influences flavour and am better of with extra spraymalt, but still want to know what the numbers are :ugeek: thx

18g sugar per litre will raise the ABV by roughly 1%.

1Kg will raise 21L by roughly 2.6% ABV.

(1000/21)/18=2.64
