On my 40litre system I normally sparge at a rate of 1 litre per min and this works well for me....

On my new 200 litre system I assume I should be sparging at a quicker rate but how quick exactly?

5 times as quick as the ammont of mash is approx 5 times the size?

Or more probably somewhere in between,

Any ideas or experiences of batches of this size??

When I had a 1BBL brewery the sparge took about an hour but with any new kit try it a few ways and see whats most efficient. What setup do you have? i'm looking for another similar setup myself.

I did look at the bridge water setup but I really want it all bottom draining for easy cleaning and emptying. I am currently considering getting 5 of these for conversion https://www.en.sansonestore.com/product/welded-barrels-conical-bottom/ or this setup for £6270 inc VAT including 2 fermenters
