Hey all
Two rather uninteresting newbie questions if someone would be so kind as to fill me in.
Firstly, some beer enhancer (Munstons) and one of the bags has split during transit, losing probably about 15-20 % of the contents. Can I still use this since I assume any nasties will get scared off when added to the boiling water along with my LME?
Also
Two of the three kits I ordered are Jack Mangroves lemon sour Gose (which is what I ordered the enhancer for), and Bad Cat imperial red. I fancy doing the sour first but is it more sensible to start with the latter since it contains hops (pelletised) which I know should be as fresh as possible? We are talking 4-6 weeks between the two brews in whichever order and I don't know if thats significant enough to make a difference...I'm guessing I don't know how long it was sat in a warehouse for. BBE is Nov 2021.
