Acrylic for sight tube???

Is acrylic tube ok to use as a sight tube? The company selling it said this was what he sold a lot for. I got a 2m length of 10mm for £1

I use it in boiler and HLT and it is fine.

Thanks , thats great! I had tested in boiling water and it was fine, so pleased to here its ok. So much cheaper than the polycarbonate

My duck call is made of acrylic, and I boil that every couple of hints to get all the nasties out of it. I've never had an issue, so I'd say you're good.
