ive made a few kit beers and ive been quite impressed so far,

i boil a gallon of water and add the sugar to it, ...COULD i at this stage add some hops to the water,, to add to/improve the taste of the kit, ive done mainly bitter, lager and stout kits so far,,

this may be the start of the slippery slope....

You could most certainly add hops at your boil stage, it will be like adding "aroma" hops, but will definitely improve the taste of your kit!

Morgans finnishing hops in the primary fermentation worked a treat for my kits [urlhttp://www.homebrewmegastore.co.uk/shop/beer-homebrew-kits/morgans-finishing-hops-cascade.html[/url]
