Regular.
I can't believe its been 10 months since I last brewed, but I guess I've been enjoying my stockpile :drink:
I did #9, a big tripel, which has matured quite nicely, and the tenth was an undocumented small beer brewed on the trub of that, which I prefer right now.
For this beer I fancied something brown and strong for Xmas (and beyond, wishful thinking perhaps). I had some brown malt I'd been meaning to try out too.
So, based on the legendary OSH Clone which I've successfully brewed a few times, with a twist:
4640g Pale
300g Crystal
300g Brown Malt
500g cane sugar (in boil towards end)
40g fuggles + 30g EKG as bittering @60
20g EKG @15
15g EKG @5
Irish moss
Nottingham yeast
Just sparging now after mashing for 90 mins at 68 dropping to 66.
Happy days
