First brew day in 3 months! I've been unpleasantly busy for the last number of weeks but finally got round to getting this on. The recipe has been sitting in BrewFather for almost a year, I've no idea what I was planning when I concocted it. 22L batch

Water
Balanced profile - SO4:Cl 1.5

Fermentables
4.2kg Pale Ale Malt
1kg Munich I
300g Medium Crystal
30g Chocolate Malt

Mash
60min 62C
10m 75C

Hops - Northern Brewer
30g at 60min
14g at 10min
40g Hop stand - 75C for 15min

Yeast
MJ M54 - California Lager
17C for 10 days, then fine and cold crash for 3

22L in FV at 1.042, and just look at the colour on that!

Cali common swap coming soon. I'm brewing my version this week.
This is my plan, not brewed one before.

Definitely up for a swapathumb... First Cali brew for me too, doing it the request of No.2 son who also came up with the name. Looks like FG has bottomed out at 1.012 just as Brewfather predicted. If it hasn't dropped any further tomorrow evening I'll be cold crashing ahead of kegging up Sunday.
