Has anyone brewed this ale from ‘Booze for Free’ by Andy Hamilton?
How did it turn out? I’m thinking of boosting it with the addition of hops ….

No, but would be interested in how it turns out. Another option to adding hops would be using a Kveik yeast for additional citrus or tropical flavours.

Be very careful with rosemary it can be very over powering. I made a lemon and rosemary rye Saison. From memory I added 5g of fresh rosemary at the end of the boil. Totally over powered the beer

One of my first original recipes was a lemon-rosemary blonde ale. I used 1/3 teaspoon rosemary (not sure how many grams that was) in a three gallon batch. It turned out very nice.
