I've seen some great gigs, namely trying chron order...
Maiden in about '87
Quo '88
Stranglers '89-90?
Clapton '90
Chuck Berry '91ish
Pink Floyd '93-94 (Division Bell) In Rotterdam Feyenoord Footie stad
Santana '93-94 A week after Floyd in Hammersmith Odeon
Glastonbury 90, 93, 94, 95, 98 (possible chance to run a bar there this year!!!)
Clapton '07 in Bangkok
Harry Connick Jr '07 Bangkok
But some of the best gigs I've seen have been in the pub I worked in Bath - The Bell
A lot of session musicians such as Robert Plants backing band (I served and chatted with Robert Plant), one of James Browns JBs Pee Wee Ellis, Gilad Atzmon (Ian Durys sax player, yes that one), Moussa Kouate-Kora player extrordinaire. I've been to some fantastic Irish sessions, going back to peoples houses and being played to all night. All night Jah Shaka dub nights in Bristol, when DJ Derek turned up. I've been so lucky and happy to have an eclectic taste and long may it continue

Hard really to distinguish "a best" because they were so different and mean different things - Memorable probably Floyd (although the delights of a day in Amsterdam meant we were a bit fuzzy round the edges!) Clapton in BKK - only £10 a ticket and he played all of the Derek and Dominos set (my fav era of Clappo)...Good to bring all these up again :)

sooo wow, sigur ros were pretty amazing....a long gig, a little too long, but certainly unlike anything i've ever seen before. the visuals just move in you, the transition from complete silence to electric cheering and screaming at the end of every song was thrilling...wow.

here's the set opener, worth it if you've got 5 minutes...
