Hello hello hello...

Completely new to home brewing world and thought it's about time I saved a bit of money rather than buying various craft beers. I love every beer from bitter, ipa, porter to lagers.

Currently have my very first brew of Wilko Cerveza in my pressure barrel and bottles - it's been a week so far. I had a little taste today of both and have to say the pressure barrel brew tastes bloody awful and looks a bit cloudy; but the bottled version is more golden, clearer and crisp (still not amazing)..... Both don't particularly have much fizz either?? Not sure why that is?

Any tips would be greatfully received. Happy brewing!

Hi, welcome to the forum

Your beer will need about 2 weeks in the warm to carbonate
and another 2 weeks in cooler temp to condition, so give it a other week or two
and you should see the difference.

Thanks papa G ... I have it in the porch and attic in nice cool temps.

Welcome.

'if' it does not turn out great don't be put off. Lots of negative reports on this kit . And I have one on the go at the moment :?

Great hobby to get into and lots of kits give great results :thumb:
