I want to Bottle some Belgium style Beer using sugar. 6.3 % ABV. I serve this cool about 4 degrees C.
Previously used carbonation drops at two drops per 500 ml. bottle and this works perfectly. I have looked at various calculators and they only seem to calculate for keg, but when divided down for bottle size this seems like too little sugar. My question is, how much sugar equals two carbonation drops?

How many volumes of CO2 are you shooting for?
1 sugar cube per 500ml bottle gets you somewhere between 2.5 and 3, which is where I like most of my beers. Sugar cubes are much cheaper than carbonation drops.
If you weigh a carbonation drop and and see whats in it according to the label you'll get an idea of how they compare to dextrose by looking at the calculators. Belgian beers tend to be higher so 1.5 cubes per 500ml bottle may be a good place to start (or 1 cube in a 330ml bottle should be pretty much spot on).
