Then a change from the previous playlist.
An Oz wine, Lindemans Chardonnay Bin65 with tonight's roast chicken.
Haven't bought this wine and had this match for a while.
It's way more elegant and less richly oaky than of yore.
I think this needs further matching consideration.
Trout cooked somehow, perhaps.

Nightcap.
First Irish whiskey for a while. (The last one was the 2019 Middleton in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin in February). I‘m convinced there’s a whisk(e)y out there for every drinker. This one would suit lovers of west coast DIPA‘s. Very boozy but with little alcohol warmth, has a marmalade like aftertaste which evokes the citrus notes of the classic US hops.

TT Landlord is one of my favourite beers unfortunately i have only ever had it out of a bottle i dont think any pubs have it round here :(
The white hart (Bouth) used to do it occasionally but it's now a generic fizzy lager pub...I believe the Engine inn in Cark (near Cartmel) has it on. According to TT website it's at
Swan Inn
