In cask for 1 month now. Odd taint gone. No aroma and a bit too sharp, Otherwise actually quite pleasant. Hope yet!

I did a Piesporter at the start of the year...for the first few bottles it was....not good there I'v said it.. :rofl:
but now it's the memsaib's private celler... :pray: it take's time you have to wait, that's what it's like with this homebrew lark.

Apparantly, German Riesling is never casked, but bottle matured and can be left for up to 30 years.
Mine has been casked for 1 month and is much improved but is now light yellow, presumably due to oxidising, so I should continue to monitor it.
As yet, I don't have 60 spare bottles, but I'm now inclined to get lots more, because, apparantly, even plastic containers breathe oxygen.
