Cider clearing

I have my 1st ever batch of TC on the go, I started it 2 weeks ago and going on the air lock it finished fermenting after about 10 days. I still have it it the first DJ and was waiting for it to clear before racking it off but it hasn't cleared at all. Do i need to rack it off or add something or just leave it bee for a week or two longer?

Some Supermarket Apple Juices never ever fully clear, but do get to a slight haze.
You are really talking 8 weeks+ before getting to the "crystal" clear stage!

Im not fussed about crystal and i did use cloudy apple juice. I was just curious as mine hasn't cleared at all, i shall rack it off leave it a couple weeks then bottle it and see what happens

S5, if you are over 10 days fermenting, go to the bottling/kegging stage. :thumb:

I was trying to avoid sediment in the bottles, well reduce it, which is why i was going to rack it off for a week or so. Is that worth doing or will it not affect the amount of sediment?

As long as your cider is protected by a "Bubbler" you can wait as long as you want.
Yes, clearing in the FV will reduce sediment in the bottle, but you will produce a little by adding priming sugar.
