are there different quality of these? i have used wilco ones but 2 or 3 bottles decompressed nothing serious as i keg most of mine but the odd lager i do, i bottle. just wondering really...... :wha:

I bottle almost all of my brews and have no trouble with crown caps, to be honest the only occasional bottle that hasn't capped properly has almost certainly been down to user error...

the quality of crimping can be judged by the crimper !............. :D :D :D

get a good qualtity desk top capper

I use the wilko caps and never had depressurising problems... but with any crown caps you do have to be sure they are on firmly, with a hand capper it sometimes takes a couple of goes.

i get a bulls eye dent in my caps from my wilkos capper and being heavy handed but not had a bottle fail yet
