Dip tube as thermowell, help

I want to use one of my unused beer dip tubes as a thermowell in my fermizilla, I have a suitable screw cap with hole but cannot think of an appropriate way in sealing the open end of the dip tube.

Anyone done something similar, or have an idea on how I could achieve this?
