Screw the electric bill we thought we would have a day of brewing sunday. Ill be making begian blond Mark is making an american apa got the 2 yeasts fermenting in starters so hopefully will be all fermented out by sunday. :thumb:

I want to have a brew but the mrs hasnt drunk enough pop for me to be abble to bottle it next weekend so gonna have to postpone...

So much better when you use a decent starter. I used a litre of yeast slurry from a previous bre in my barley wine and in 3 days it has dropped nearly 60 points should be done by monday.

Good luck with the double, who's breing first?
 
Thanks guys i think wendys gonna do the belgian first as the grain bill will nearly fill our mash tun. Should be a good day, hopefully we can boil outside if the weather stays ok :thumb:
 
wouldnt hope on the weather for anything at the moment :| just cant make its mind up .... what happened to 'summer' :lol:
