Is 14 days too long to dry hop - would that ruin a brew?
I've a batch of Amarillo IPA in the fermenting fridge back at my parent's which is an hour drive away. It's had 4 weeks, and on Tuesday last week 35gms of Amarillo were added as dry hops.
My plan was to get over there on Sunday and bottle it, having had 5days of dry hopping.
I managed to forget the bloody bottle caps and now am about to go on holiday so the earliest I can get there is Monday next week. This means it will have had close to 14 days of dry hopping.
Is that going to ruin it? If so, I can probably post the caps and get the old boy to bottle it this week, but he's not keen!
