Hello all,
Im Scotty, im 25 this thursday(25th oct). Im very VERY new to homebrew. ive made a couple of batches one being a kit the other a concoption of nettles and mollases. both very drinkable. i am looking to venture into growing my own hops and using more ingrediants found in the wild.

Welcome.
Sounds exciting.
I stick to buying but living in a city centre there isn't much to forage.
There is a lot of info on urban hop growing, from pots using trellis walls etc, a little imagination and the world is your oyster as it goes. I've grown so much in pots like beetroot, cucumber, peas and beans. I can't wait to grow some hops. Going to start them off indoors against the mrs wishes but I'll promise her black roses next year. Then in March April they should be 2ft and I'll start hardening them. Off. Scotty

It was nice I was careful with the molasses but even then there was a little to much, was morish but plain
