we had a foray into yorkshire over the weekend .... :eek:

sheffield to be precise,and we had a few beers in the samuel smiths brown cow pub, their extra stout beer was sampled and i must say it was one of the best beers i have ever drank.... :cheers: :drink:
i used to drink euro-fizz lager... :sick: up until i started brewing last year.... :?

Agreed Sam Smiths beers are good . . . but at 7% it's hardly 'Sout' Though . . . and not an Imperial :lol:

Spent the weekend in Pershore and can thoroughly recommend the Brandy Cask and its own John Bakers Original,I arrived with a massive Headcold but it proved to be the perfect medicine. :cheers:
 
Deffo try and get hold of a bottle of Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout. It's fast becoming one of my all time favourite beers :drink:
