I know its popular like cricket but i have never got into either, it goes on way too long and you get morons shouting "get in the hole" every time someone hits a ball, that must really wind a lot of spectators up.

Golf and Tennis are two games I simply can't watch. I think I prefer watching team sports. I love football and can even watch cricket and rugby even though I dont really know most of the rules of either.
Slid's big into rugby and cricket. So much so I suspect he likes them more than brewing (bleedin' heathen)

I fished (fresh water) for many years, i only gave it up because our local canal became so weedy it was/is un-fishable, we have a tarn which was good for ledgering and had some decent size Tench and Bream in it, locals said there were/are Carp in there but i never caught or heard of anyone catching one.
