I'm looking for a beer festival in London, and not the big one at Earls Court - something small, single pub, lots of ales.

can't quite seem to find what I'm looking for, and the CAMRA site isn't providing what I'm looking for (maybe it's just me being thick) - it doesn't even have to be CAMRA event.

Thanks in advance

The CAMRA London festivals tend to occur as follows:
February: Battersea
March: London Drinker (Camden Centre)
July: Ealing
December: Pigs Ear (currently Hackney, I believe)

There may be other London fests but the above four are the ones I tend to go to, so as you see, you've just missed them this year until December!
As for pub fests, I tend to pick up a copy of the (free) London Drinker as and when I can and I'm sure I see some advertised in there.

And in addition to Swazi's list, depending how wide you are prepared to cast your (drinking) net:

http://www.thebreelouise.com/ NW1 upto 17 real ales, discount for camra members
http://thegrapeandgrainse19.co.uk/ SE19, beer fest 7th-10th october, discount for camra members
The Sultan, Wimbledon, beer fest 16th-17th september
http://www.thecraftbeerco.com/ EC1, 16 cask ales, 21 keg beers, house lager by mikkeller
The Beehive, Battersea beer fest 9th-11th september
http://www.williamthefourth.net/ Leyton Brodie's birthday bonanza 2nd-4th september. 40(!) brodie's beers available £1.99/pint

Nicholson's IPA fest 22nd aug - 4th sept http://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/offer/ipafestival/

..and I'm sure there's more. I'm bloomin' thirsty now!

Get yer drinking boots on!
