Love it - the decks make it for sure ;) - I have a pretty meaty speaker system going in (OK £21 ebay purchase, but it is a early 2000's Sony 5.1 system with a huge bass bin) but I don't know when I'll ever get to crank it up given the location and the amount of neighbour have.

Love that. The “amount” of neighbour I have.

Movement has been very slow of late, the floor started to go in on Friday, will be finished on Monday, and the hope the inside will be close to done by the end of next week. Gutted to find the chest freezer I bought doesn't fit two kegs! Will have to be returned but that will slow things I think. 2 kegs and gas bought but not got the lines and taps yet - can only afford one set so far, ah well - next payday won't be long away!

Updated layout...

And gas bought....

Flooring completed, hurrah

Sits level with the decking, and is about as close a colour match as I could find, though the widths are different - looks great imho

Starting to move the furniture and fixtures in to build the units around
IMG_20190805_210716.jpg

'Brewers kitchen' will be to the right of the sofa, 'bar' to the left.

Run out of £££ this month so could only afford the regulator and set up for one keg, will have to wait for next month to order the rest. Sadly the freezer I got to be the keezer is too small for two kegs. Luckily I hadn't open the 2nd box and ao.com do 100 day returns. So will go back and get a size up. Been looking for something 2nd hand locally but nothing of us has come up. Joys of living out of a city.

Looking forward to getting set up for 2nd keg soon! (and seeing if the bigger freezer will actually fit 3 kegs...)

Taking longer than hoped but very happy with how it is all coming together

Then today stuck in the smaller chest freezer that will ultimately be for food. The bigger one should come tomorrow. Testing out the taps, all works great.

The temperature probe/plug bought from AliExpress seems to work well so far

Taps and fittings from brewkegtap seem great and feel good quality

2nd chest freezer arrived, and fits gas, 2 kegs and a fermentation bucket easily - with plenty of room for bottles etc around the edges.

Shame that it won't fit 3, but would fit a 9 or 12 litre keg on the compressor shelf.

Model is the Fridgemaster MCF194. In theory the
Fridgemaster MCF139 would fit two brand new corny kegs if they were 215mm as I've seen some advertised - but then you'd need a short gas bottle on the compressor shelf if you wanted that inside. But the 139 def wouldn't fit my 2 reconditioned kegs.

So my friend who is doing all the work was there again today, and started putting the frames for the units up and did me a place to temporarily put Tap One.

Happy days!

Progress - think the inside will be mainly done this week, and the outside next week. Bring it on!

Still more work to do, but we had our first beer shed party :)

We went through the remains of my first all grain (about 10 pints) plus the full 16 litres or my latest AG - plus 4 litres of a stout on handpull, and a few random old kit bottles I dug out. Was pretty lethal. A great night ;) and was good to have some confirmation that my beer is pretty drinkable ;)
