Hello everyone. Can I use grape juice from a carton rather than fresh as it is a lot cheaper. Ingredients say 100% fruit and it doesn't mention preservatives. I assume that it has been pastuerised though.
I know that bottles of fruit juice can be made into wine if it is boiled first.
Help appreciated as I shall be shopping tomorrow for my supplies. Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I had already seen the link but the cartons I am talking about are the ones on the fruit drinks section, ie not the fresh refrigerated ones.
Logically I'm thinking that if you can make wine from a bottle of Ribena with all the preservatives in then it should be possible to use processed grape juice?
Anyone?

Yes you can use the grape juice and most of the other carton juices. And no need to boil. Aldi juice is good in both white or red. But most supermarkets do them.
