Apologies if this has been flagged up before but just spotted 450ml Grolsch Swing Top bottles (full of beer) for sale in Tesco at 3 for £5.

Seems like a good deal to me!

When I first got to Germany with the Army in the late 80s there were more than 3 DM to the pound and Grolsch in NAAFI was 90 pfennigs a bottle +plus 10pf back for the empty. That was about a quarter of the UK beer price (oh and a 50ml spirit was 50Pf). IT's no wonder we were all permanently hammered - good job the Russians were all at the brake fluid!
