Con Air is a great film, which reminds me of Drive Angry, another Nic Cage film I really enjoyed.

they did the same with a british film called 'death at a funeral' same story same script american actors..... i just dont see the point

Yep - annoyed me too - not seen the American version, but the British one is sheer genius !!

They also did it to Nikita (which is French) and a great film

box set "Pacific" , WW11 American's fighting the Japs , bloody good about 10 of them got em for around £8 2hrs each 1 as good or better than "band of brothers" (like private Ryan)

One good film IMO, is Grab Turismo with Clint Eastwood.

As for TV, Dexter and chuck add recommended, and supernatural, but it got silly toward the end...

Favourites? What might fall into horror - Dead Man's Shoes, really nasty but brilliant indie film by Danny Boyle.

THis is a great film!!! Has anyone seen 13 Tzameti? It is amazing.

I believe though that the Asian films are being left out i.e. Battle Royal, Sympath for Mr Vengense, Old Boy, Lady Vengense. Infernal Affairs is also meant to be amazing but i am still to see it. it was remade by the US and called The Departed I think.

Finally a film that i watched that really surprised me was In Brugh. Colin Ferrel is really good in this and i generally hate him!
