Hello one and all
A brief intro about myself:
I have a multinational background, French born & bred, complete British upbringing and education, 10 years in the Netherlands and finally settling at the foot of the Swiss alps. I am completely French-English bilingual and also get along very nicely in Dutch and German.
My primary hobby has been collecting/restoring/shooting antique firearms but my new life and new job has reduced my free time considerably. A fellow expat here introduced me to the magic of homebrew recently and since he is in the same boat with regard to hobby time I thought I would give it a bash myself.
I dabbled briefly in my student times with making mead and mirabel plum wine which was reasonably successful if rather empirical, I hope to return to the hobby with a slightly more structured approach.
My primary focus would initially be on mead but beer is also on the cards, particularly dark ales.
I look forward to picking your brains!
