Im planning to get my brew on this staturday and I need some help.

I've got my grain sorted, just Pale Malt with 200ish grams of Crystal, bit of wheat for head and a bit of black for some colour. Just going for an easy session brownish/paleish ale.

Not too sure what to do about the hops.

I've got Bobek, Challenger and East Kent Goldings. Thought I'd bitter with the challenger and maybe a combo of the other two for the aroma?

Does anyone know of a recipie with these or how I should go about using them? Its going to be a 23 litre brew probably with Nottingham yeast

All help appreciated!

You won't go far wrong with challenger for bittering and Bobek or EKG for aroma.

If its your first beer, bitter with the challenger, bang a big hit of EKG or Bobek 10 mins from the end of boil, then bung about 23g of EKG or Bobek per 5 gal in the fermenter when you pitch the yeast.

Rub up the 10 min and dry hops before adding to break up the oil glands, in order to get the best out of them.

It will give you a great beer whichever you use.
