Hi from rural Oxfordshire

Hi everyone,

Pretty chuffed as 2 weeks ago yesterday I half kegged, half bottled a Muntons premium gold Midas touch golden ale kit and pulled the first pint from the keg - tbh wasn't expecting much, but tasted great -and will be better by next week!

Reason I wasn't expecting much though is what my bottles look like - they have small lumps of stuff floating at the top of them which doesn't look very nice must say, is this normal? I am aware the bottles are not ready yet. Colour wise the beer looks fine, its just these small lumps, what are they, dead yeast maybe?

Have the lumps been transferred from the fv :hmm: , it's not normal to have the floaty bits.
