Hey
I'm brewing my first homebrew at the moment and am using a plastic Young's pressure barrel. My problem is that I live in a flat with no spare fridge and need to figure out a way to keep my barrel cool in the summer heat.
Anyone had this problem and have a solution??

Thanks

I have the same problem in the warmer months, i use them small plastic ice cube things you can pick up at wilkos. They cool down the beer without watering it down, i had an idea of coiling a pipe up inside a cylinder, filling up with water and freezing. Then just attaching to the tap, but have yet to get round to it. Also creating something similar but with glycol and a Thermoelectric Unit. I also put my glass in the freezer in the morning only helps with first pint though.
