Yesterday was a brew day. I've only done a few AG brews so im still very much a beginner, but yesterday went well. Mash went well (didnt loose a single degree), sparge could have been better (I think I rushed it a bit and struggled to keep 1" of water over the grain) and the boil went fairly well too! So all in all not bad.

I was having a go at one of Worcester Hop shops AG kits:http://www.worcesterhopshop.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=4&products_id=61

The Caledonian Deuchars IPA Style Recipe Kit.

Time for a beer me thinks

Well done pal, I like the way we can produce some excellent beers without going OTT with gear :thumb:

oh and who ever told me about the insulation stuff from B&Q for £3 is a genius! Infinitely better than any blankets or sleeping bags!
