Increasing calcium sulphate and chloride - Help please!

Look at the range of values in your report to start with, you can see a lot of places in England have vary variable supplies - they might switch or blend from an aquifer and a reservoir for example, I'd definately get an RO setup then - but in Scotland most of the supply is simple soft, low alkalinity water so there is very little variation and what variation there is doesn't really matter to us. Most of our supply is just rainwater from reservoirs
 
I thought we targeted calcium and just leaned one way or the other depending on if we wanted sulphate or chloride to lead.
You absolutely can do it this way, that's the method outlined in the beginner's guide, but if you want more control then you can start playing with more specific targets for sulphate and chloride.
