John Bell Coventry Wine Circle: still around?

Does anyone know if John Bell is still around? He used to answer the 'Dear John' wine maker queries for Ritchie products and their winemaking kits. If he is still around he'd be in his 80s or 90s now. The old Ritchie website says he joined the Coventry Wine Circle in 1968 and ran the Coventry Homebrew shop from 1984 until 2004. I'm wanting to write a short history of the names behind the wine kit companies and it would be great to include him. I fear I may be too late but if you know anything then let me know!
