Must has lovely deep purple colour, I wonder how dark the finished wine will be...

Followed insructions to the letter. All went well, no slips or misshaps.

Demi currently holds approx 3250ml with a OG of 1.125

So, after topping up this = (3250/4500)*125 = 1.090

Which according to my chart gives around 12% ABV.

Looks like you are doing pretty well there Ktan.
12% abv is more of a White wine strength to me, I always thought Red wine should be around 14%.
I'm probably totally wrong!

That was my first one too, it's very nice, so nice infact that I've got another one on the go. It tastes much better after a few months maturing, you'd better get a TC on the go so you can have something to drink while waiting for this one

that wine is bloody loverly mate, leave it to age for atleast a couple of weeks as it improves vastly!!

If you follow the instructions you cant go wrong, just make sure your patient, that is one thing i have struggled with!

A wurzel is a very simple brew, and in the right conditions can be fermented in 2weeks!!!
