First brew with the keg a success, but noticed a slight gas leak around tap seal. Funnily enough from way back in the day with the BeerSphere, (1970`s ) I had a similar problem. The tap seal tends to splay out under torque, especially if silicon grease has been lightly applied. Apply gas pressure and that`s when the leak gets worse.
So from a used tin, cut a strip approximately same width as rubber seal. Sand till all coating has been removed to facilitate soldering. The attached pics show the simplicity of the collar. I coated with clear nail varnish to stop corrosion.
