Hi All, decided to give Lutra Kveik a try. Can't get it Ireland for some reason so it's winging it's way to me from The Malt Miller. I'm looking forward to seeing how it preforms but I've read that it can bring the PH of the final beer down, does that mean I have to adjust for a slightly higher mash PH?

I've definitely had better final beer flavour results when I've stuck around 5.5-5.6 for my mash pH with lutra, though dry hopping would need to be taken into account too.

I've started checking mine recently, since middle of last year or so. Never found a reliable guide on how to adjust a finished beer so I never make any alterations until the next brew though.

Cheers, not planning a dry hop will aim for 5.6 with some lactic
