Hi All,
I noticed this stuff sitting on top of some raspberry and pear I brewed last September.
Is it as bad as I'm thinking?
Or is there something that I can do about it?
Any advice gratefully appreciated!
Pardon the photo. There are spots of rusty/pink scaly bits on top. Some splashed up the side as I hauled it out of the shed...

Just tried it.
There's no smell (apart from raspberry) and it tastes nice!
Crisis? What crisis?
However, did have to dip a piece of kitchen roll in to clear the bits off the top.
Any thoughts on what that might be?

I haven't a clue but if it tastes and smells good i cannot see it doing you any harm, i have drank worse looking wines (usually due to my early syphoning technique) and it didnt do me any harm, i will wait and see if you come back tomorrow telling us you have the squits.
