I used flip top bottles which gave a nice pop as I opened. The beer is more sparkling than actually fizzy. Will this improve over the next few days? Tbh I don't mind the slightly sparkling but a bit more fizz would be an improvement.

Seriously though. You haven't given much away. Is it a kit? What kind of beer is it? How long has it been in the bottles?
Yes it will get fizzier. Give it a couple of weeks or more rather than a couple of days.

I usually start drinking my brews when they've had a week max in the warm to pressure up. To be honest I rather enjoy tasting the way they improve as they condition. Last bottle of a brew they're usually just at their peak.
As above - and the temperature at which you let them secondarily ferment will affect the amount of fizz
