Whilst providing constant heat going from mash out to boil, I find that the temperature gradient always levels out at 93-94C and then returns to the previous gradient once past this temperature. Why?
This is not a problem and has probably saved from many a boil over as I start to clean mashing equipment. It is however messing with my head as I can’t think of logical explanation.
Help

When you said constant heat I thought it was a gas burner. Do you have a power meter to see if it is heating at the time?
The visual power meter on the G30 is showing full blast as I would expect. It only shows lower readings as it gets to within a degree or two of a target temperature (eg mash temperature) or if it is maintaining that temperature .. again as expected
