How much sugar is enough per bottle in the festival kit i have it has 150g for 40 500ml bottles, but id like to know what other people use
 
150g for 20L seems a lot to me. That will be fizzzzzzy!
I’d drop it down to 100-110g.
Have a look at batch priming, it’s where you melt sugar with some water, boil it, wait for it to cool and pour it in your beer before bottling, then stir gently wait 20 mins and bottle. That way it’s evenly distributed throughout the beer.
