It seems strange to be planning a pumpkin beer already, but I order for my next few brews in advance and given i won't be ordering for a month or so it will probably fall at the backend of my next order.
I made a pumpkin amber ale last year, which was plenty nice, but this year I wanted to do something a bit more interesting.
I love Pumpkin Spice as a flavouring so I *think* i'm going to try my hand at a Pumpkin Spiced Latte Stout.
I imagine that I'll need to add Coffee and Lactose as well as the Pumpkin and spices.
I've also never made a stout, either from scratch or a kit.
So i *could* buy a stout kit and take it from there, but I think i'd like to do this from scratch. I don't have large kettle at the moment, so it'll have to be an extract brew. Can anyone help me out with a recipe or some recipe advice.
