Recomendtion on a 10l fermenter

Me too. Pallet wrap is a bit more grippy.
I often just pop the lid on and leave it at that (perhaps insulation too).

Made a 9 ltr batch of 80 bob this morning and I'm using the pot I used to mash/boil as the FV. I've got two pots with the same size lid - one steel, one glass so I used the steel one during mash/boil and the glass one now for the FV so I can see what's happening. It would never of occurred to me to do that and its one less thing to clean 🙂
 
The Coopers Fermenter worked ok for a Mr Beer kit but when I tried to ferment an all-grain IPA in it I got really bad acetaldehyde which I believe is due to the lack of airlock / too much head space so I won't be using it again.

Sorry but acetaldehyde is not caused by a plastic bucket.
