I popped my brewmaker porter into a plastic keg with 90g of medium spray malt around two weeks ago. This morning I tried to take a tester and had no pressure. I swappwd the lid for a youngs cap and put a co2 bulb in. The beer came pouring out from around the tap. I've now tightened and stopped the leak but the little white relief valve is hissing and has been for ten mins, its only a very slight leak but will this stop when it drops below a certain pressure???

Whether it stops depends on the valve, some cheap kegs have a 1 shot plastic cap that blows out if the pressure gets too high, they have to be replaced.

If the valve has metal parts try dripping some warm water into the valve, sometimes unsticks the pin.
