After some advice please.
My weak 2.5% french larger stubbies, feel thin.
Are they ok for bottling still cider?
Guess they are unsuitable for a wilko golden ale.
Thoughts appreciated

They'll be fine for your still cider, should be OK for the golden ale too as long as you don't over prime. I've never considered using these though as you would need 80 odd bottles and caps for a full brew, its bad enough doing 40 x 500mls IMO. You'd also end up wasting too much leaving the sediment behind on every single bottle.

Agreed, a 40pt brew into stubbies would feel a bit much. Having kept hold of a few I just wondered.
Got the Wilko golden ale one tin kit to start so planning in progress.

I dont know how much french stubbies hold but I'm rather keen on my 330ml bottles. I have a bout 50% 330ml and 50% 500ml and I tend to use the 330ml more than I do the 500ml. My 330's appear to be of various thicknesses and I carb up to lager levels in them (for my blonde ale) and I've never had a problem in any of them
