Hi there u jolly brewers out there. I did some ribena wine 3 weeks ago following an 80s recipe its never had a vigerous fermentation just little bubbbles on the shoulder. the yeast has sunk so took a reading and the SG is still high same as 3 weeks ago? is it stuck???? please can anyone advise me THANX E

By no means an expert here as I've just started my own Ribena wine, but perhaps preservative or temperatures killed the yeast. I'd expect the preservatives would be gone by now, so adding more yeast would probably get it started, but I'm not sure I'd use it after it has sat there for 3 weeks, especially as Ribena is easy enough to replace.

Did you boil the Ribena to remove preservatives before starting?

Edit: did you add nutrient? I doubt Ribena has a lot of useful stuff for yeast in it.
