Rice wine yeast

Has anyone tried making rice wine with the Angel brand yeast available from China?
I'm assuming that like Chinese yeast balls, this contains both a yeast and the spores of a mold that will convert starch to sugars.
If anyone has tried it, what method did you employ and how was the result?

With no reply here and no response to an enquiry to the AliExpress seller, I dropped the manufacturers a line.
While they are cagy about exactly what is in their product, they assure me that "The rice leaven is not only yeast, it can work for starch material such as rice".

I've ordered some product (it's less than four quid for 10 packets) and at some point, I'm going to give the rice wine a go.
